Part of the value of being a member of EnergyUnited is the opportunity to participate in the annual election of our board of directors.
The board of directors that you elect has the final say on all major decisions made by your cooperative, from the policies that are set, to the rates we charge for electricity to overseeing the chief executive officer position that manages EnergyUnited’s daily operations.
No matter how much energy you consume, you have an equal vote in this important election.
Members who have shared an email address with the cooperative can vote electronically by accessing the 2017 EnergyUnited Board of Directors Election webpage at www.directvote.net/EUEC/login.aspx.
All other members will receive a hard copy ballot in the mail sometime after August 1. Members who choose to vote by mail, should send the ballot in the postage-paid envelope that will be provided and sent directly to Survey and Ballot Systems.
This year’s election opens on August 1 and closes September 15, 2017. If you have not received an email with online voting instructions or a mail-in ballot by August 10, please contact Survey and Ballot Systems directly at 952-974-2339 or by email at email@example.com.
Pursuant to Section 3.12 of the Cooperative’s Bylaws you must have been a member on July 14, 2017 to vote in the 2017 EnergyUnited Board of Directors Election.
Make sure your vote counts! Please read all of the directions provided with your electronic or mail-in ballot very carefully. Improperly cast or delivered ballots will not be counted.
Members are nominated to be director candidates by the Nominating Committee or by Member Petition. The EnergyUnited Board of Directors Election is independently administered by Survey and Ballot Systems. The Credentials and Election Committee certifies the EnergyUnited Board of Directors Election results and makes the final decision concerning any election related issue.
