ENERGYUNITED THANKS MEMBERS AND EMPLOYEES

STATESVILLE, N.C. – EnergyUnited thanks its members for their patience and support during Winter Storm Fern. The cooperative also extends sincere appreciation to EnergyUnited personnel, contractors and mutual aid partners who stood ready to respond safely and quickly.

“Safety is always our top priority, and we appreciate our members staying prepared and cautious during Winter Storm Fern,” said Thomas Golden, chief executive officer. “We’re grateful for our crews, contractors, mutual aid partners and support employees who responded and worked to keep the power flowing safely.”

Despite regional impacts from Winter Storm Fern, EnergyUnited experienced no significant power outages, reflecting the strength of our member-owned cooperative and the disciplined execution of strategic investments made on behalf of our members. These investments continue to enhance system reliability and long-term resiliency.

Now that the storm has passed, crews are being released and EnergyUnited is returning to normal operations. Members are reminded to monitor local weather updates, as frigid temperatures early this week may prompt emergency alerts.
