Every month you will receive an electric bill from EnergyUnited prepared on the basis of a meter reading. Meters are read on or about the same day each month. Payment is due upon receipt and will be considered delinquent if payment is not received by EnergyUnited on or before the due date indicated on the bill.
Payments may be made by bank draft; phone (via check, debit, or credit card); mail (check or money order); after-hours deposit facility (check or money order); in person at any EnergyUnited office or authorized payment agent location; via online banking; or the EnergyUnited web site (via check, debit or credit card). American Express, Visa, MasterCard and Discover credit cards are accepted.
Members may choose to have monthly electric bills drafted from their savings or checking accounts by providing EnergyUnited the account number and banking transit number. Banking accounts will be drafted approximately 10 days after the billing date shown on the statement. Members will continue to receive electric bills each month reflecting the amount that will be drafted from their account.
EnergyUnited members can pay their bills online through EnergyUnited’s website by logging into their account. Once signed in, members can view their bill information and make payments. All transactions are handled through a secure website to ensure protection of your personal information.
Simply dial 1-800-215-7315 and follow the easy prompts to make immediate payments by credit card, debit card, or electronic check using Paymentus. Please have your account number available when using this option. There is a convenience fee of $2.30 per payment and Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express credit cards are accepted. No part of this fee goes to EnergyUnited.
Under this payment plan, members can take the worry and uncertainty out of fluctuating electric bills by paying the same amount each month. Those members with residential accounts who have at least 12 months of billing history at their current location are eligible to enroll in the Budget Billing Plan. The monthly payment amount is computed from the average of the last 12 months’ usage. We perform an annual recalculation of these payments in May of each year with the new payment amounts reflected on the June bills. Any credit or debit balances at the time of recalculation is equalized over the next 12 months. In addition, periodic reviews are often conducted during the plan year for those accounts with large credit or debit balances, and these reviews could result in a change in the monthly payment amount at a time other than the annual recalculation.
In order to remain on the Budget Billing Plan, the monthly payment must be paid when due. Failure to pay on or before the due date will automatically remove your account from this plan.
You can sign up for the Budget Billing Plan by logging in at the account page and selecting the “Budget Billing” button on the left. This feature will allow you to obtain a quote for your monthly payment amount. You will then be given the option to establish the plan or cancel the request. As an alternative, you can also contact Customer Care at 1-800-522-3793.
Members may pay their monthly electric bills through their personal online banking service. Members who use their online banking service should allow enough time for the payment to reach EnergyUnited in order to prevent penalty fees and/or disconnection of service. Payments made by one’s personal online banking service may not reach EnergyUnited for 7-10 business days. If a member’s electric service is scheduled to be disconnected for non-payment, the online bank payment may not reach EnergyUnited in time to prevent interruption of electric service. We suggest you check with your bank to determine the length of time it will take for EnergyUnited to receive your payment.

This payment option makes paying bills easier than ever before. Members can use the kiosk to pay electric bills by cash, credit card, debit card, check and most importantly, payments post immediately to your account.
The kiosk makes it easier for you to do business with EnergyUnited 24 hours a day. If you make a payment in cash, the kiosk will dispense bills, but will not provide change. Instead, you will have the option to donate to the Operation Round-Up Program or apply the change to your next bill. For example, if your bill is $79.80, you can credit the 20 cents to Operation Round-Up or you can credit the change to your bill for the next month. We are excited to offer this donation option to make it even more convenient for our members to give back to those in need in local community.
