The EnergyUnited Foundation is always looking for ways to do better — for our community and our planet. That’s why the grant application process for the EnergyUnited Foundation is now 100% online.

What hasn’t changed is our mission to serve our community — and the members and employees who make upholding that commitment possible.

Since 1996, the EnergyUnited Foundation has granted over $7.5 million to more than 5,000 individuals, households and nonprofit organizations in need of financial assistance — and it’s all thanks to the generosity of over 90,000 members who round up their monthly bills as part of our Operation Round-Up program.

In 2022 alone, we received 191 applications and were proud to award $382,000 to more than 133 households and nonprofits throughout our community. And in 2021, we received 163 applications and awarded over $300,000. We’re proud to lend a helping hand to our neighbors while partnering with organizations in our community.

So, don’t wait to get the help you, your household and your community deserve — scroll on to find the online grant application that suits you best.

Operation Round-UP

Operation Round-Up is a powerful way for EnergyUnited members to help others in their community by rounding up their monthly bills. The EnergyUnited Foundation is funded entirely by the generosity of members who give through our Round-Up program. Donations can be as little as a penny or as much as 99 cents, which may not seem like much, but these small amounts add up quickly, making for a greater impact on the lives of other community members in need.

Why are you not allowing members to submit a hard copy application any longer?

We are going paperless! This will save you on printing costs and postage to mail the application. We believe moving to an e-application is in the best interest of our Foundation applicants and our cooperative.
