The EnergyUnited Foundation is always looking for ways to do better — for our community and our planet. That’s why the grant application process for the EnergyUnited Foundation is now 100% online.

What hasn’t changed is our mission to serve our community — and the members and employees who make upholding that commitment possible.

Since 1996, the EnergyUnited Foundation has granted over $9 million to nearly 5,100 individuals, households and nonprofit organizations in need of financial assistance — and it’s all thanks to the generosity of over 83,000 members who round up their monthly bills as part of our Operation Round-Up program.

Funds donated by EnergyUnited Electric Membership Corporation members are awarded by EnergyUnited Foundation’s Board to individuals and households who are suffering unusual and/or unexpected problems and are in grave need of assistance. Grants may be used to pay for shelter, utilities, emergencies, and other humane needs. Grants may also be provided to non-profits serving these same essential needs.

The EnergyUnited Foundation celebrated a record year of giving in 2023 with more than $900,000 in grants to individuals, families and nonprofit organizations. We’re proud to lend a helping hand to our neighbors while partnering with organizations in our community.

So, don’t wait to get the help you, your household and your community deserve — scroll on to find the online grant application that suits you best or download our informational flyer here.

Operation Round-UP

Operation Round-Up is a powerful way for EnergyUnited members to help others in their community by rounding up their monthly bills. The EnergyUnited Foundation is funded entirely by the generosity of members who give through our Round-Up program. Donations can be as little as a penny or as much as 99 cents, which may not seem like much, but these small amounts add up quickly, making for a greater impact on the lives of other community members in need.
