EnergyUnited strives to make a difference in the community, and it doesn’t stop with providing power. Our difference is our ambition to help shape not only our communities but the lives of each member in them. Our employees and members generously give their time, money and energy to help those who need it the most. We strive to help our members and youth for generations to come.
Nothing represents EnergyUnited’s core value of community commitment more than the members and employees who help serve through the EnergyUnited Foundation. Since its beginning in 1996, the EnergyUnited Foundation has granted over $7.5 million to more than 5,000 individuals, households, and non-profit organizations in need of financial assistance. These grants are made possible by the generosity of our members who participate in our Operation Round-Up program. We are proud to share that over 87,000 EnergyUnited members currently round up their bills each month.
In 2021 the Foundation awarded over $300,000 in grants throughout our community. We received over 100 applications and were able to help over 93 households. In 2020 we launched our “Drive to Shine” campaign to provide more than $100,000 to local food pantries. We are proud to lend a helping hand to neighbors and community service providers in need.
To receive an application for a non-profit organization please email firstname.lastname@example.org. An application will be emailed to you within 24 hours.

Operation Round-Up is a powerful way for EnergyUnited members to help others in their community by rounding up their monthly bills. The EnergyUnited Foundation is funded entirely by the generosity of these members who give through our Round-Up program. Donations can be as little as a penny or as much as 99 cents, which may not seem like much, but these small amounts add up quickly, making for a greater impact on the lives of other community members in need.
